Humans of Space

 Here is a post I made for the Human of Space facebook page, click here to check. weekly I explore (in my head) for creatures in space, and things they can teach us.

Some of my practice stuff.

Just learning how to get better at my own stuff.. I should reference more artist and styles that I can incorporate in my own drawings; makes sence, it will get me better faster, and efficiently... Its in all the books too.. but I am not very interested in that,  well, that hard way it is..

Certainly I have my influences here and there, if only I look them up when I doodle something that is inspired. like the punk-ish girl in this post, I though of Jamie Hewlett renegade characters, while trying to do something similar to the look Mike Huddleston has with his linework. even I intended to imitate what I like from them, still did not look them up. I should try it just to experiment.

Fairly quick sketch I just finished.. I have many thing inspiring this. just wanted to get it out. Note how the color difference happens between both.. I have seen artist comments on this issue, so I though I should demonstrate and also give a solution, which is using PNG (top) format to get the right colors, where as JPG (bottom) may not upload with the right colors.

monster Head bust! 3D!!!

this is one of the first thing i built in 3D, i feel the learning curve has definetly peaked this last year, and results are starting to show.. so i ll be posting more 3D stuff... few things were changed from the concept art below. but i tried to maintain the likeness as much as i could..

well i am back to school and and assignments are filling my itinerary, this fish for exemple was done my digital tools class. i was pretty happy with it.. tried some new things ands stuff. and for not having any reference it pretty believeable!!

office-helper

this is Joe an office-helper with a low self confidence but curious, sort of a igor but in the office, this is just an idea for character design for the next semester, i ll keep creating more. i think the sketch version of the guy its more appealing in my eyes, but its always better to present stuff clened up so here it is. any suggestion would be gratly appreciated. i find this clean up procces a bit tedious, specialy is you had to resize you image in the middle of the procces :s ...
